1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Aquarist, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Aquarist is a personal aquarium management application that allows you to track your aquarium tanks, log maintenance activities, monitor water parameters, set reminders, and share tank information with other users.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may also sign in using third-party providers (Apple, Google). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
• You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleted accounts are recoverable for 30 days, after which all data is permanently removed.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of all data and photos you upload to Aquarist.
• By using the sharing features, you grant other users view access to the tank data you choose to share.
• You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

6. Availability and Updates

We strive to keep Aquarist available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Aquarist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that aquarium advice derived from the app will be accurate or suitable for your specific situation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aquarist and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
